‘The Bourne Legacy’ Rolls Out 10 New Action-Packed Images

Now that Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ has reached theaters, we’re starting to look past the year’s most-anticipated film and prepare for the next blockbuster. Ah, summer. There’s always a potential crowd-pleaser on the horizon, and the next one on our radar happens to be ‘The Bourne Legacy.’

Due in theaters on August 10, ‘Legacy’ looks at the actions triggered by Matt Damon’s super spy but views them through the eyes of a rival agent … Aaron Cross, played by Jeremy Renner. The movie shifted its release date back a week to distance itself from ‘Total Recall’ (and the lingering shadow of the Batman). But Universal continues to roll out promotional images and clips to let audiences know that Matt Damon’s absent, yet the thrills should be a ramped-up as this franchise has promised.

Universal Pictures a slew of stills and behind-the-scenes images, which we’re sharing with you below. Renner looks like a fine replacement for Damon, and having Rachel Weisz by his side means he’ll have a formidable sidekick to bounce off of as they dodge bullets … literally.
