‘Broad City’ Season 4 Eyes Late Summer 2017 Premiere

Comedy Central shows tend to get a bit more spaced out as comedians rise in profile, but is Broad City going the way of Inside Amy Schumer? Abbi and Ilana are back to assure us that Broad City Season 4 is still on, albeit debuting a bit later in 2017 than in previous years.

Where Season 3 of the fan-favorite New York comedy hit Comedy Central in February of this year (vs. January for Seasons 1 and 2), a new video from stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer sees the duo confirming a summer 2017 return. More specific claims within the video place the Broad City Season 4 premiere somewhere in August.

Comedy Central renewed Broad City for Seasons 4 and 5 prior to the Season 3 premiere, though as we saw with Inside Amy Schumer Season 5, the network isn’t above accommodating its creators’ narrowing schedules. Both Jacobson and Ilana also have a comedy film in the works with Ghostbusters director Paul Feig, produced with Feigco partner Jessie Henderson.

It could be some time before Broad City Season 4 sets more official details, but is the move to late summer a bad sign?
