Neil Jordan is really into vampires. Like, really into them. The director of 'Interview with the Vampire' has a new film premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival called 'Byzantium,' and we've got the first clip from the film starring Gemma Arterton, Saoirse Ronan and Jonny Lee Miller.

Empire premiered this exclusive clip from 'Byzantium,' the newest vampire film from director Neil Jordan, who famously adapted Anne Rice's 'Interview with the Vampire,' starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. (Side note: if the internet were as big of a deal then as it is now, it probably would have exploded when that movie came out.)

'Byzantium' stars Gemma Arterton, Saoirse Ronan, Jonny Lee Miller, Sam Riley and Caleb Landry Jones in a tale of two women seeking shelter at a coastal resort. Clara, the older one, befriends Noel, who invites her into his guest house. Eleanor, the younger, finds a friend in Frank and tells them their dark secret: they are 200-year-old vampires who survive by drinking the blood of humans.

The cast is intriguing, particularly Ronan and Caleb Landry Jones, the latter of whom starred in 'X-Men: First Class' and stars in the upcoming 'Antiviral,' from director Brandon Cronenberg. In the first clip, shown below, we get a look at the two of them interacting briefly, and Ronan displays some eerie affection for blood.
