Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, after presenting the D23 Expo crowd with some brand-new footage of 'Thor: The Dark World,' moved the presentation along to 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' starting with the reveal of the first footage.

Those in attendance at Comic-Con have already seen the footage, which included an extended fight scene between Chris Evans' Captain America and Frank Grillo's men in the confines of a cramped elevator, continuing with all the action and "political drama" we can expect from the sequel.

Following the screening, Feige introduced the film's stars Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie.

"I guess you see me crashing down to the mountains," began Stan on his Bucky Barnes, but, as we already know, he returns as the brainwashed and physically enhanced Winter Soldier.

Director Alan Taylor has only just started cutting together the film, as production on the set wrapped recently. But even so, Feige was able to debut the first clip from 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier':

Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow and Steve Rogers are prepping to jump from an in-flight jet amid some playful banter. "What did you do this weekend?" "Well, all the guys from my barbershop quartet are dead, so ..."

Cap dives off the jet into the ocean next to an oil tanker-looking ship. In true Cap style, he knocks out the soldiers (mercenaries? What have you) on watch one by one through a variety of classic moves -- shield-throwing, bashing, throwing men over the side of the ship, etc. -- and we get some nice shots of the brand-new vintage-looking suit in the process. Of course, the clip wouldn't have been complete without Black Widow swooping in to pop some caps off in some baddies.

"I live for Disney!" shouted Evans. In fact, the day after production wrapped, he said that he and the 'Captain America 2' team wanted to hit up Disneyland, but they had the D23 Expo to worry about. "Maybe after D23? Let's go!"
