Does the New 'Captain America 2' TV Spot Spoil a Major Part of the Movie?

EDIT

As Marvel ramps up its marketing for 'Captain America 2,' a new TV spot has hit the airwaves. While it does do well in teasing fans with never-before-seen footage of Chris Evans' upcoming turn as the Cap, it seemingly spoils a major moment from the movie. (Continue reading at your own risk.)

In 'Captain America 2,' officially titled 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' Steve Rogers and Notasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) re-team with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to tackle a shadowy new threat in Washington, D.C. -- The Winter Soldier, the brainwashed and genetically enhanced Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). Based on previous footage from trailers and details from Marvel, this is looking to be Cap's toughest challenge yet, but what toll will it have on "The First Avenger"?

In the newly released 'Captain America 2' TV spot, Evans' voiceover recites, "Fury's last words were not to trust anyone," accompanied by footage showing someone covered in white sheets lying on a medical slab as Rogers, Romanoff, Cobie Smulder's Agent Maria Hill and Anthony Mackie's Falcon stare ahead with concern. So, this begs the question, will Fury meet his end -- or at least one near-fatal injury -- during an encounter with The Winter Soldier? Signs at the moment point to yes, as the spot also depicts The Winter Soldier blasting Fury's car into a fiery heap.

This could very well be a major misdirection on Marvel's part, considering that Samuel L. Jackson is on the official cast list for 'The Avengers 2,' or perhaps Fury is faking his death in the film. We'll know more when 'Captain America 2' hits theaters this April 4, but until then, check out the new TV spot above, which also includes a clearer shot of the newly added Falcon character taking flight. Be sure to give us your theories in the comments.
