Casey Anthony + Sam the Eagle — Dead Ringers?

When we heard that Casey Anthony was trying to turn her journal that she’s reportedly been keeping ever since her 2-year-old daughter first went missing into a best-selling book (which will probably then become a Lifetime original movie if it ever gets published), we had to take a look back at the trial to remind ourselves of how mildly absurd this idea is.

Aside from the main fact that she was accused of murdering her daughter, what’s even more conflicting — and this is a complete side bar — is that we couldn’t read a book by someone who looks like Sam the Eagle. We just couldn’t keep a straight face.

As Anthony demonstrates, the key to pulling off this ‘Muppets‘ look is the five-finger forehead, bags under the eyes, and a facial expression that just reads, “I am NOT amused.”
