Castle of Illusion Video Shows Us the Magic Behind the Scenes

A new behind-the-scenes video for Castle of Illusion has been posted, treating us to an extended look at the magic that's going into the remake of the platforming classic.

The PlayStation Blog was updated by Mai Kawaguchi, Senior Digital Brand Manager at Sega, with a video that shows team members reflecting on the original game and the work that's going into the remake.

They say that the two games are very similar and feature the same core gameplay, but the advances in technology and the new graphics will give the remake something extra, allowing them to play with camera angles, the controls, and the platforming aspects. Even with all of the new features, the game will still retain the original's magic.

The team also speaks about how Castle of Illusion still holds to Disney's ideals of positivity, dreams, and imagination, making it a fun and wholesome gaming experience for all.

There's no word on when this game will be released, but look for it later this summer on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and PC.
