‘Castle’ Taps ‘Nip/Tuck’s’ Dylan Walsh for Major Two-Part Episode

CBS might have given a bit of short shrift to 'Unforgettable's' Dylan Walsh, but 'Castle's' February sweeps two-parter will make sure you don't forget about the former 'Nip/Tuck' star. ABC's long-running writer drama has tapped Walsh for a major role in its traditional February "event," joining the ranks of such past guest stars as Dana Delany, Adrian Pasdar and Jennifer Beals. Even with Castle and Beckett still firmly an item in the ABS series' fifth season, the drama isn't about to let up. According to TVLine, 'Castle's' upcoming February sweeps two-parter has tapped former 'Nip/Tuck' star and current 'Unforgettable' lead Dylan Walsh in a "pivotal" new role.

According to the report, Walsh will take the role of Agent Harris, an "even-keeled" FBI investigator who comes to work with Rick and Kate when a murder investigation uncovers a plot to kidnap a wealthy Middle Eastern businessman's daughter. Showrunner Andrew Marlowe wouldn't specify many details of the two-parter's story, but instead offered, "Our two-parters are always about big tension with personal stakes, so we have a story that we like. [I'm] not quite ready to advertise what it’s going to be, but we’re excited about it and I think it has some fun twists and turns.”

Walsh will also return to 'Unforgettable' when the show premieres its second season on CBS this summer (having been saved from cancellation), but what say you?
