Four more years might be a high asking price for HBO's Emmy-winning political satire 'Veep,' but an additional 10 episodes have officially been voted through. HBO has announced that Julia Louis-Dreyfus will dress up Vice President Selina Meyer's foul mouth for another year, granting the comedy a third season of 10 episodes to begin in 2014. Both the 'Dallas' legacy and TNT's revival of the long-running soap opera suffered an immense blow this past year when legendary actor and original series star Larry Hagman lost his battle with cancer. TNT managed to write the actor's death into a storyline for Havman's wily J.R. Ewing to exit the series, but now we've learned that 'Dallas' will live on regardless. TNT has officially ordered a third season of the revitalized soap, but what else will change about 'Dallas' season 3?

Well, you can add that 'Annie' remake to Jame Foxx's increasingly busy schedule. The Oscar-winning actor is currently in negotiations with Sony to join the project, which will star 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' lead Quvenzhane Wallis as the adorable orphan girl of the title.

Some will call this a slow weekend, but it may be better to think of it as the calm before the storm. Next week, the summer movie season begins and people are saving their pennies for 'Iron Man 3,' so it's not really surprising that this was an uneventful couple of days at the multiplex. At least the folks behind 'Pain and Gain' can be glad that their film led an otherwise quiet weekend.
