Tonight offered the finale of 'The Office,' and at this moment -- considering most people complained that the show should have ended a couple years ago -- it's worth pointing out that most great network shows overstay their welcome. It's easy to pine over one-season wonders like 'Freaks and Geeks' and 'Firefly,' but part of what makes them great is they never had the chance to get bad. Whereas there are definitely bad episodes (and sometimes seasons) of all-timers like 'Seinfeld' and 'The Simpsons.'

The last couple seasons of 'The Office' may have tarnished its reputation, but it was once one of the best sitcoms on television. The finale reminds us why.

Previous ‘Supernatural’ episode “Clip Show” saw Sam and Dean investigating exorcisms in preparation for the third trial, as Crowley dug through Winchester history and Castiel considered a deadly proposal from Metatron, so what does the final season 8 episode bring? Do the Winchesters finally succeed in ridding the world of Crowley and his fellow demons?

Previous ‘Arrow’ episode “Darkness on the Edge of Town” saw Oliver investigating both Malcolm Merlyn and his mother’s involvement in the Undertaking, while Thea and Roy (Colton Haynes) attempted to get close to the vigilante, and Edward Fyers revealed his past island plans.
Last week’s ‘Hannibal’ episode “Entrée” saw incarcerated killer Dr. Abel Gideon (Eddie Izzard) suddenly take credit for the Chesapeake Ripper murders, while Jack found himself haunted by the memory of trainee Miriam Lass (‘Veep‘s Anna Chlumsky), lost to the killer, so how does the seventh course of ‘Hannibal’ taste?

Previous ‘Supernatural’ episode “The Great Escapist” saw Sam and Dean first encounter the angel Metatron in their effort to pick up where Kevin Tran left off, while Castiel found himself on the run from both angels and demons alike, so what does the latest season 8 episode bring? Will the Winchesters finally be able to rid the world of Crowley and his fellow demons?

Previous ‘Arrow’ episode “The Undertaking” saw Oliver working with Felicity to rescue the captive Walter, while flashbacks to the past reveal the mysterious Undertaking and Malcolm Merlyn’s diabolical plans. Juliette's memory is coming back, the key may actually mean and lead to something, Wu might get more to do every episode or so, etc. etc. Tonight's episode "Kiss of the Muse" brings in guest star Nora Zehetner (co-star of 'Brick') and it looks like it might wrap up some of this Juliette/coma stuff.
Last week’s ‘How I Met Your Mother’ episode “The Bro Mitzvah” saw Barney’s surprise bachelor party underwhelming him, while Robin found herself stuck at dinner with Barney’s mother (‘American Horror Story’s Frances Conroy), before both situations quickly get out of hand, so what did tonight’s all-new episode bring? Are we any closer to learning how the final years for Ted, Robin, Barney, Marshall and Lily play out?
