Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer Shows Off the Ultimate Batman Simulation

Watching the new Batman: Arkham Knight gameplay trailer, it's easy to imagine this game getting retitled Grand Theft Auto: Gotham City without anyone blinking an eye. Unlike the claustrophobic Batman: Arkham Asylum and the open but constructed Batman: Arkham City, Rocksteady's latest Dark Knight adventure makes Bruce Wayne's entire hometown your personal sandbox, letting you glide overhead, drive through its streets, and knock down whatever gets in your way with a well-timed missile.

By now, superhero fans have long since accepted that the chances of seeing Spider-Man appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are slim at best. As long as Sony holds the rights to the character, they're going to keep making Spidey movies until the day the Earth stops spinning and the human race quietly fades into nothingness. At least you'll be able to create your own Spider-Man/Avengers team-up with the upcoming Disney Infinity 2.0, which will include a cool Spider-Man playset. The latest Batman: Arkham Knight trailer may lack the sheer dramatic oomph of the debut teaser, but it has something more important than impressive CG cutscenes: actual gameplay footage. Anyone can cut together a bunch of animated dramatic scenes and get people excited, but it takes inventive and fresh gameplay to make people actually fall in love with the finished product. So, how does the fourth game in the acclaimed "Arkham" series look now that we've actually seen it in action?

We heard rumblings of the proposed 'Halo' TV series from Microsoft's Xbox and producer Stephen Spielberg for quite some time, the last of which suggested the serial adaptation would land on Showtime. Now, with the announcement of the 'Halo 5: Guardians' game, new word suggests the TV series will bow around the same period, fall 2015.
