Well, this is a pleasant surprise! The first trailer for Netflix's upcoming original series 'Orange is the New Black' deftly won us over, and already the streaming service has shown a major vote of confidence with a second season order. The new series from 'Weeds' creator Jenji Kohan won't premiere until July 11, but what can we expect to see from the second season?

Amazon proved rather conservative in its initial selection of fan-rated pilots to take to series, choosing only 5 of 17 available offerings to move forward, all either comedies or children's shows. Now, the streaming service has decided to move forward with a pilot production of its first original drama 'Bosch,' based on the Michael Connelly homicide detective novels.

Now that 'Arrested Development' season 4 has come and gone, with even the most casual of fans having gone through the episodes, opinions continue to divide on Netflix's successor to the family that won our hearts 10 years ago on Fox. The hype from 'Arrested Development' season 4 seems to have largely died down, whether by problems inherent to Netflix's all-at-once model or the mediocre reception of the new episodes, but series creator Mitch Hurwitz still has plenty to say on the revived series' past, present and future. And lo, the fourth season of 'Arrested Development' debuted on Netflix this past Sunday to worldwide fanfare, though by Tuesday the excitement had faded. The experimental 15-episode season greatly polarized fans and critics alike, but now that Netflix has attained the "huge" numbers it sought, is 'Arrested Development' guaranteed a fifth season, or even a movie?
