While yesterday saw CBS announcing their full fall scheduling lineup and releasing trailers for most of its upcoming offerings, notably absent was the presence of upcoming summer series 'Under the Dome,' based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. Thankfully, the eye network has now come through with our biggest look at 'Under the Dome' yet, offering a bit more blood, gore and explosions than we've come to expect from CBS. Go 'Under the Dome' to find the full trailer inside!

Are you ready to go 'Under the Dome' for an in-depth look at the new series debuting on CBS this summer? Following up on the network's big trailer dump from yesterday, CBS has given out a much longer look at the new series adapting Stephen King's 2009 novel, which highlights the devastation inherent when the mysterious dome suddenly encapsulates an entire town.

Premiering June 24 and written by ‘LOST’s’ Brian K. Vaughan, with original ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ helmer Niels Arden Oplev directing, ‘Under the Dome’ follows the book of the same name, focusing on a small New England town that finds itself inexplicably encased in a transparent dome with no hope of penetration. Inside, the residents of the town battle increasingly apocalyptic conditions as they struggle to understand what’s happened to them.

In addition to ‘Breaking Bad‘s’ Dean Norris and ‘Bates Motel‘ star Mike Vogel, the cast includes ‘LOST‘s’ Jeff Fahey, ‘Twilight‘ star Rachel Lefevre, Colin Ford (‘Supernatural‘), Natalie Martinez, Alex Koch, Britt Robertson, Nicholas Strong and Jolene Purdy.

You can check out the full-length trailer for ‘Under the Dome’ below, and tell us what you think in the comments! Will you tune in for the June 24 premiere?
