It’s taken long enough for Cinemax’s adaptation of Max Collins’ Quarry to break ground, and will only take a bit longer still. The network has set an official September premiere for the Logan Marshall-Green led drama, also issuing its first official photos.

Now set to bow on Friday, September 9 at 10:00 P.M., the series stars Logan Marshall-Green as Conway, Jodi Balfour as Joni, Peter Mullan as The Broker, Nikki Amuka-Bird as Ruth, Justified alum Damon Herriman as Buddy, along with The Wire vet Jamie Hector as Arthur, as directed and executive produced by Greg Yaitanes and Steve Golin. This drama series tells the story of Mac Conway, a Marine who returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972 and finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public. As he struggles to cope with his experiences at war, Conway is drawn into a network of killing and corruption that spans the length of the Mississippi River.
