Comic-Con 2014: 'Arrow' Season 3 Trailer Teases Ra's al Ghul

EDIT

Just a couple of nights ago we got a brand-new trailer for 'Arrow' season 3 -- but you didn't think that's all we'd be seeing of the latest installment during Comic-Con 2014 weekend, did you? Hot on the heels of the first preview comes another season 3 trailer, and this one ends with the introduction of a familiar DC comics foe.

During the 'Arrow' panel at Comic-Con, star Stephen Amell revealed another trailer for the third season of CW's superhero series, but this one has a much different ending than the one we previously saw. Following the action-packed trailer, which introduces new characters like Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer (aka The Atom) and Peter Stormare's Vertigo, a new scene appears: one that teases DC comics villain Ra's al Ghul, a character who's also spent quite a bit of time in the Batman universe.

The trailer for 'Arrow' season 3 also features peeks at the return of Caity Lotz as Black Canary, as well as Felicity and Oliver's date, and Colton Haynes' transformation into the red-hooded Arsenal. Also on board this season are 'Real Steel' star Karl Yune as Maseo, Oliver's handler in the Hong Kong flashback, as well as 'Sin City' star Devon Aoki as DC character Katana.

The third season of 'Arrow' premieres on October 8.
