Comic-Con 2012is right around the corner, and while the vast majority of buzzworthy television properties have carved out their time in and around Hall H, the anticipated film titles have been dragging their feet. Yes, we know that ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ kicks off this year’s Con, but the rest of the major studios have been slow to confirm … until now.

Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios revealed its plans for San Diego Comic-Con panels, confirming the presence of ‘Iron Man 3,’ ‘Wreck-It Ralph,’ Tim Burton’s ‘Frankenweenie,’ and Sam Raimi’s ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful.’

Disney will take over Hall H on Thursday, July 12 from 2:05-3:05 p.m. According to a release, Burton will host a Q&A for ‘Frankenweenie,’ Raimi will take the stage with an ‘Oz’ presentation, and the voice cast of ‘Ralph’ – including John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman – will close out the hour.

Marvel will wait until Saturday, July 14, to take over Hall H for an hour. Company president Kevin Feige and “special guests” are expected to “provide an inside look at the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.” We’re pretty sure that means ‘Iron Man 3,’ which is shooting in North Carolina, but might also mean more details on the Thor and Captain America sequels that have been announced.

We expect more studios to fall in line in the coming days, so keep it here for all of your Comic-Con coverage.
