We're not one's for spoilers, so if you haven't seen the most recent 'Community' (which is one of the best shows on TV - as you've probably heard), then read no further. One of the show's players died in the episode, and it was delivered as a shocking blow. Why? Why? Well, if you want to know why, the actor explained it....

Okay, you're ready for spoilers now right? Dino Stamatopoulos, better known as Starburns on the show, was killed off because Stamatopoulos was ready to die. Not like Notorious B.I.G., but because he's also one of the show's consulting producers and writers, and felt that doing any performing was a distraction from his job.

He told EW "“I’m not an actor, I don’t enjoy waiting around for hours on set, I hate when people touch my eyes and neck (make-up department!), I can’t learn lines quickly (yes, even the amount of lines I get), and I don’t need other actors (Joel McHale) asking me why I never got my teeth fixed."

Basically, it sounds like Stamatopoulos was brought in as an actor as a lark, and the the writers and crew had fun with the character, and - to be fair - audiences liked him as well. It's also easy to understand why he'd want the character written of the show in a way that he was done with the part.

But, as we say our fond farewells, it's good to remember the high points that Starburns brought to the show, and to our lives. We'll miss you Starburns, and we hope your fictional death leads to some sort of fictional afterlife.
