'Breaking Bad's' Giancarlo Esposito may have lost his Outstanding Supporting Actor Emmy to his co-star Aaron Paul, but at least he'll always have his 'Community' gig to fall back on! And hopefully, that 'Revolution' show we've heard about once or twice. Still the big news is that Esposito will reprise his role as Pierce Hawthorne's recently discovered baby bro Gilbert in an upcoming installment. Will his new turn be as villainous as the last or has the Chicken Man softened a bit?

He might not have won any Emmys for his 'Breaking Bad' role as Gustavo "Gus" Fring, but don't feel too bad for Giancarlo Esposito just yet. Not only does the man have a headlining role on NBC's 'Revolution,' but the network has even seen fit to provide additional work by returning him to the fourth season of 'Community'! TVLine first learned the news, reporting that Esposito would reprise his season 3 role of Gilbert Lawson, secret half-brother to Pierce Hawthorne, in an early season 4 installment.

It isn't yet known what role Gilbert will have in his reappearance, though it's been theorized it might have to do with a long-awaited trip inside Pierce's mansion. Though already employed on 'Revolution,' Esposito's return to 'Community' follows a rash of 'Breaking Bad' castings for NBC, bringing Jonathan banks to the coming season of 'Parks and Recreation' as well as Dean Norris to 'Whitney,' and even Bryan Cranston himself to '30 Rock.'

Esposito's casting also adds to a star-studded fourth season, which already includes ‘Battlestar Galactica’ vet Tricia Helfer, ‘Bridesmaids’ star Matt Lucas, UK thespian Malcolm McDowell as the gang’s new history professor, and Hollywood icon James Brolin as Jeff (Joel McHale)'s father.

Well, what say you? Are you excited to have Giancarlo Esposito back for 'Community' season 4? Who would you like to see when the new season premieres on Friday, October 19?
