Even without series creator Dan Harmon at the helm, 'Community' season 4 has gone to some unique places in only the first four episodes of the season, soon to address a major milestone this Thursday as Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) comes face to face with his father for "Cooperative Escapism in Familial Relations," but where might 'Community' go that it hasn't before? Why, an all-puppet episode with 'Seinfeld' star Jason Alexander, among other spoilers gleamed from PaleyFest!

Paintball and parallel universes are one thing, but puppets are a territory 'Community has yet to explore. That will change with an upcoming episode this spring, as series star Yvonne Nicole Brown seems to have gotten her wish that 'Community' turn felt for a puppet episode titled "Intro to Felt Surrogacy!"

NBC announced the upcoming episode during the recent PaleyFest panel, also revealing that the installment's plot would see the study group taking a balloon ride that crash lands in the woods and sees them spending time with a friendly mountain man, played by former 'Seinfeld' star Jason Alexander.

The panel also revealed a few new details of the season, including that 'Workaholics' star and upcoming 'Arrested Development' guest Adam DeVine would appear in Thursday's "Cooperative Escapism in Familial Relations," playing the role of Jeff's previously-unknown half-brother. Of course, the larger question remains if 'Community' has a shot at a fifth season, given the meager ratings its season 4 episodes has garnered, but new show-runners David Guarascio and Moses Port remain nothing if not optimistic.

Well, what say you? Are you excited to see 'Community' doing another out-there concept-episode with a new puppet caper? Tell us what you want to see from new episodes of 'Community' in the comments!
