Rescued from cancellation thought it may have been, 'Community''s future remains something of a question mark without Yahoo Screen setting any kind of official season 6 timetable. And while Comic-Con 2014 only had so many hints to offer on the Greendale Gang's new beginning, our first Yahoo teaser promises that the onetime-NBC series will be back better, stronger, and faster than ever.

First screened at Comic-Con 2014, the new teaser for 'Community' season 6 notably only strings together clips from the show's first five seasons, glossing over the fourth with the same "gas leak" approach Dan Harmon used to lampshade his brief absence from the series. Still, the Yahoo approach at least promises that ratings won't impact the show's malleable storytelling abilities, even after some of its more notable cast members have already left the series.

So far, we know of 'Community' season 6 that creator Dan Harmon and executive producer Chris McKenna will remain at the helm, while cast members Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash, Alison Brie, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong and Yvette Nicole Brown have all signed on to return. Dan Harmon suggested that John Oliver could potentially return as time allowed, while any inclusion of Donald Glover might best be reserved for the seemingly inevitable movie.

Writing isn't expected to begin until August, at the earliest, while Harmon himself has suggested we might see the 'Community' season 6 premiere after Christmas, or potentially in 2015. Production is also expected to keep the series in a weekly format, rather than Netflix's "all at once' model. We'll know more of 'Community' season 6 in the coming months, but in the meantime, enjoy Yahoo's intense teaser above, and tell us in the comments what you want to see from the Greendale gang's return!
