With the upcoming release of 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' flick and Steven Spielberg's 'Lincoln' in production, Conan O'Brien picked a fine time to visit Springfield, Illinois' Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum for a fun-filled history lesson.

A self-professed Abe Lincoln fanboy, Conan claims to have read countless books on the 16th President of the United States during his childhood. So when Conan arrived at a museum honoring his life-long hero, needless to say he was like a kid in candy shop. That is, if the candy shop sold fake beards and hats that say "I Love History" and the kid were a 39-year-old man.

Check out the clip below in which Conan peruses the museum's gift shop and hangs with a number of its costumed staffers. Not satisfied with the museum's version of Lincoln's wife, Mary Todd, Conan even brought along his own take on the First Lady. And this one's appeared in Maxim.
