Cosplay of the Day: Hellgirl Is on Fire!

As you can probably tell, we're big fans of cosplayers who like to mix it up in the gender department, and this lady cosplaying as Hellboy is pretty damn sweet.

We're not sure who the awesome lady in this photo is, but the pic was snapped by Flickr user DalaiMickey at this year's DragonCon in Atlanta. The photographer has a great assortment of photos, ranging from nature shots to some fantastic cosplay photos at various conventions.

But it was this photo of Hellgirl that caught our attention. Covered in red paint and carrying a seriously bad-ass gun, this Hellgirl has it all -- the sawed-off horns, the giant monster hand, and even Hellboy's favorite cigar. We also love the added touch of a beer, which we assume wasn't a part of the costume (livin' it up at DragonCon, you know how it goes), but it totally works anyway. And she looks like she's having so much fun!

The costume itself is pretty basic -- the jacket isn't very detailed, but her belt is spot-on -- but we applaud her enthusiasm and commitment to giving a feminine edge to one of the gruffest, toughest comic book heroes around.
