Cosplay of the Day: Move Into the Neighborhood with Totoro

We're still not entirely sure what kind of creature Totoro from 'My Neighbor Totoro' is, but we do know he's big, friendly and makes one damn-good neighbor. With that said, we thought it was prime time to feature a great Cosplay of the Day starring the big lug himself!

The titular Totoro is a large, friendly creature who lives in the woods and befriends two little girls named Satsuki and Mei. Though he may look like a large animal, he's actually a spirit of the forest, making him one of the most interesting characters around. Also, his tummy is big enough to sleep on, which is infinitely awesome.

Here is LileahWest with her full-body Totoro costume. According to the description on her site, this suit weighs about 30 lbs and is pretty hot. When she needs to sit, she'd pull out a big rubber ball with handles for respite. Totoro may not be real, but this is the closest we'll get to the real thing. Now, if only we could sleep on that thing's stomach.
