Cosplay of the Day: Velma From ‘Scooby-Doo’

Jenkies! The Mysteries Inc. resident bookworm Velma Dinkley never looked quite like this. You're gonna want to see more of what Velma, courtesy Gina B.

Taken at this year's New York Comic-Con, this is Gina B. in costume as Velma from 'Scooby-Doo.' Says Gina on her Deviant Art page:

This outfit was actually a request outfit. I made it quickly the week before the con. I bought the wig, the shirt and the socks. I used 3D glasses, and spray painted them to make them a uniform black. I made the skirt and shoes myself.

It's not the most elaborate of costumes, but certainly one of the more effective. We've posted some more shots of Gina as Velma (taken by a professional photographer who was at NYCC) below.
