Dark Souls 2 Trailer: Forging a Hero

For those who love punishment, the new Dark Souls 2 teaser trailer should be quite a treat. While no actual gameplay is shown, we do get a look at something called “Forging a Hero.”

The video is very quick and shows an anvil, some sketches of a hero and lots of blacksmith work being done. From the looks of it, armor and weapons are being forged, which are then outfitted on a person. Just who this person is and what “Forging a Hero” will be is unknown, but it’s looking pretty badass at the moment.

The description on the YouTube video says, “Dark Souls’ universe is taking a surprising new form.. Are you ready to meet… him?” Whoever “he” is, we’re definitely ready to make his armored acquaintance.

Dark Souls 2 is set to send players into fits of rage on March 14, 2014 when it’s released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Let us know what you think of this live-action knight in the comments below.
