We seem to be receiving almost daily updates about the upcoming Deadpool movie now — in addition to our first look at Ryan Reynolds in costume as the Merc With a Mouth, Fox also dropped the film’s official logo over the weekend. Today in Deadpool news: Reynolds addresses whether or not the film will be rated R, while a newcomer has joined the cast as Negasonic Teenage Warhead (for those unfamiliar: yes, that is her name).

Deadpool would get an R-rating. Reynolds is totally for it:

X-Men Origins: Wolverine, in which they silenced the Merc With a Mouth by surgically sewing his mouth shut. But things are looking up for
Deadpool, and Reynolds previously revealed that with a smaller budget, the production may be able to get away with certain things in comparison to Fox’s larger superhero offerings.

Still, Deadpool is a superhero movie, so whether or not they’re allowed to pursue an R-rating is ultimately Fox’s call.

In addition to the above, THR reports that newcomer Brianna Hildebrand has joined the cast as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a character created by Grant Morrison. Negasonic has precognitive and telepathic powers, though it’s unclear how she might be changed from page to screen (a slight name change feels like a possibility).

Deadpool hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
