If you had “New Deadpool Trailer” on your Christmas wish list, you can go ahead and tell Santa (or whoever) not to worry about it because the Merc With a Mouth has got it all taken care of. 20th Century Fox will debut a new, full-length trailer for the R-rated comic book movie on Christmas Day, giving us the gift of one very profane superhero.

Fox ran a special Deadpool promo on ESPN’s SportsCenter last night promising a new trailer on December 25. The promo isn’t online, but we assure you that it’s legit. The trailer will air during the NBA game on ESPN, but you don’t need to tune in to see it, since it will inevitably wind up online a few minutes after its TV debut.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular anti-hero, Ed Skrein as Ajax, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, T.J. Miller as Weasel and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Here’s the first trailer to help you bide the time:

Deadpool hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
