'Lost' is a television series that's still talked about to this day, mostly by fans who will debate the series and its ending for years to come. The wildly successful show was partly due to Jack Bender, who directed most of the episodes of the famous series. Now he's got a new project in development, this time for the big screen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bender is developing a new thriller for Legendary Pictures titled 'Devolution.' Currently there are no plot details but the idea is based on an original story by 'World War Z' author Max Brooks.

The script is being written by 'Wrath of the Titans' scribe David Leslie Johnson, who besides writing that big screen blockbuster also penned a couple of episodes of AMC's 'The Walking Dead.' Max Brooks is producing the project with Legendary, and he also helped to develop 'The Great Wall' for Legendary East, which stars 'Man of Steel's Henry Cavill.

Bender has also directed episodes of 'Alias,' and the now canceled 'Alcatraz.' He was going to direct the new Jack Ryan movie but couldn't due to scheduling issues. Though the plot details are being kept quiet, with this roster of people it looks like a big A-list blockbuster, so we'll keep you updated on 'Devolution' when more details are released.
