There are plenty of questions already hanging over the seventh season of 'Dexter,' given the shocker ending that closed out season 6's "This is the Way the World Ends."  Even then, it's hard to imagine what other mysteries and villains could arise independent of the big twists, but one previously un-cast role caught our attention.  Are you ready to meet the new mystery girl who might stick around through season 8?

TVLine exclusively reports that actress Katia Winter ('NCIS') has landed the "major" recurring role previously teased for 'Dexter's seventh season, potentially recurring throughout the eighth as well.  Winter's role (previously identified as "Hannah") will be that of a Russian stripper who works in a Miami club, likely the one owned by former ‘Luck‘ star Jason Gedrick's character.

Said club will also provide a regular hangout spot for fellow-cast (and likely major villain) Ray Stevenson, a “high-ranking member of an Eastern European crime ring who arrives in Miami determined to learn who killed one of his associates.”

The new lady in Dexter Morgan’s life is said to be “sexy, dangerous and a force of nature.  She’s got quite the past but is trying to put it behind her…until she meets Dexter.” Not only that, but E! added previously that “she’s going to have quite the affect on our resident serial killer considering there’s a strong possibility Hannah will appear in season eight as well.”

What do you think?  A new love interest for Dexter Morgan, or another woman to learn his dark secret?  What are you most looking forward to about the new season, set to premiere on Sunday, September 30?  Make your bloody mark in the comments below!
