‘Dexter’ Season 7 Unveils First Official Season Premiere Photo

Probably the biggest question on any 'Dexter' fan's mind since the very first season is just how Dexter Morgan's loved ones would react to seeing him in his element, slicing and dicing those who run afoul of his dark passenger.  So without spoiling too much, it stands as pretty obvious that viewers would be desperate to see what happens in the aftermath of season 6 finale "This is the Way the World Ends."  Ready for your first look?

Though 'Dexter' season 7 won't officially premiere on showtime until Sunday, September 30, already fans have a small teaser of what to expect when the show premieres with the bizarrely titled "Are You...?"  Suffice to say, those who remember Dexter's season 2 fantasy sequence of telling Deb the truth about his murderous activities will know that one of his suspicions proved right, as his sister is indeed brandishing a gun to him!

The first official photo from 'Dexter' season 7 (courtesy of SpoilerTV) picks up exactly where "This is the Way the World Ends," left offas Deb - SPOILER ALERT - went to share her icky incestuous feelings with Dexter, only to discover him in his element plunging a knife into the Doomsday Killer Travis Marshall's chest!  It's still a big mystery what Deb will do with her brother overall, but at least we know she won't handle it so well initially.  Shocking, we know.

Most of Dexter’s seventh outing has been kept under wraps, but we have learned that former ‘Luck‘ star Jason Gedrick will take a role as an owner of a gentleman’s club, one which frequently plays host to fellow-cast (and likely major villain) Ray Stevenson, a “high-ranking member of an Eastern European crime ring who arrives in Miami determined to learn who killed one of his associates.”

Most of the casting reports to come out of ‘Dexter’ season 7 have had to do with the Easter European mafia, but there’s also the casting of Katia Winter as a major new female character for the upcoming season, a sexy and dangerous “force of nature” with a dark past and a likelihood of recurring into the eighth (and presumably) final season.
