Some have been wondering if Shailene Woodley's starring role in 'Divergent' will transform her into the next big Young Adult movie sensation in the vein of Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart. Can the same now be said of Theo James, who has just been cast in the male lead?

Variety reports that James, known for roles in 'Underworld: Awakening' and CBS' 'Golden Boy,' has just nabbed the role of Tobias "Four" Eaton in Neil Burger's 'Divergent,' based on Veronica Roth's bestselling Young Adult novel of the same name. Four is the "intense, yet charismatic instructor" to Woodley's Beatrice (Tris) Prior and serves as a leader of one of the factions.

According to the official press release:

DIVERGENT is a thrilling adventure set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities, Tris Prior (Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late.

The cast for 'Divergent' recently begun filling itself with names like Jai Courtney, Kate Winslet, Maggie Q, Zoe Kravitz and Ansel Englort, and now Miles Teller ('The Spectacular Now'), Aaron Eckhart ('Olympus Has Fallen') and Ray Stevenson ('G.I. Joe: Retaliation') are also reportedly in talks for supporting roles.

What do you think? Do we have the next big Young Adult movie franchise on our hands?
