Cool New ‘Doctor Who’ Series 7 Movie Posters

Fan boys and fan girls, it's time to squee.  This Saturday August 1 will see the long-awaited premiere of 'Doctor Who's seventh series, which promises to be the biggest yet for the ever-regenerating Time Lord.  Everything from dinosaurs on a spaceship to cyborg cowboys will plague everyone's favorite pairing of The Doctor, Rory and Amy Pond, so how would you like a movie-quality look at the first five episodes?

Before 'Doctor Who' unveils its seventh season (the last for current companions Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill), the BBC has released 5 movie-quality posters for the 5 episodes to air in 2012.  Following these first 5, the show will air its Christmas special, and pick up again in 2013 with new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman.

First up is Saturday's premiere "Asylum of the Daleks," which feature the Doctors mortal enemies looking to be saved from extermination, followed by "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship," which is...well, exactly what it sounds like.  Third will be "A Town Called Mercy," and strangely enough in nomenclature  episode 4 will be "The Power of Three."  Finally, episode 5 will no doubt have us all weeping as "The Angels Take Manhattan," the ultimate outing for Amy and Rory Pond.
