Now that the 'Doctor Who' Christmas special has come and gone, it feels like it's been eons since we've had any glimpse into the Doctor's latest adventures. The recent photo from March 30 return episode "The Bells of St. John" certainly got our pulses racing, but who needs one new image when we have sixteen! Preview the Ice Warriors' return, the Doctor's submarine adventures, and mysterious new companion Clara Oswin Oswald inside!

On Saturday March 30, the agonizing wait for the return of 'Doctor' who will at last be over, meaning we can finally delve into the mystery of the Doctor's new companion Clara Oswin Oswald (Jenna-Louise Coleman). The BBC has released a number of tantalizing new photos from the first four episodes, several of which give us our first real look at the redesigned Ice Warriors, an old 'Doctor Who' enemy not seen since 1974.

In addition to the Ice Warriors episode penned by Mark Gatiss, upcoming installments will feature some ghostly new developments from guest stars Dougray Scott and Jessica Raine, but what else does the return of 'Doctor Who' series 7 have in store? Says show-runner Steven Moffat of the new episodes, including the upcoming 50th anniversary special:

It’s the 50th year of Doctor Who and look what’s going on! We’re up in the sky and under the sea! We’re running round the rings of an alien world and then a haunted house. There’s new Cybermen, new Ice Warriors and a never before attempted journey to the centre of the TARDIS. And in the finale, the Doctor’s greatest secret will at last be revealed! If this wasn’t already our most exciting year it would be anyway!

Upcoming guests for the remainder of ‘Doctor Who’ series 7 include Celia Imrie, Richard E. Grant, Warwick Davis, Raine, Scott and Tamzin Outhwaite, as well as mother and daughter Dame Diana Rigg and Rachael Stirling. Rigg will also be seen in the coming season of ‘Game of Thrones,’ debuting one day later on March 31.
