Boy, do we hate when good TV series have unclear names, or difficult-to-pin down titles for filing. But regardless of how you recognize ABC's 'Don't Trust The B In Apartment 23,' there's no denying the comedic gold of 'Dawson's Creek' star James Van Der Beek playing himself as a has-been, opportunistic version of himself. The series always plays fast and loose with 'Dawson's Creek' jokes, but is a reunion finally happening? Who from the old cast will pop up in the premiere?

Via TVGuide, we've learned that a long-awaited reunion of 'Dawson's Creek' is finally in the works. Well, sort of. The October 23 premiere of 'Don't Trust The B In Apartment 23' season 2 will see former 'Dawson's Creek' star Van Der Beek attempting to recruit his former cast members for a reunion special. Only confirmed however, is former 'Dawson' star and current 'Cougar Town' regular Busy Philipps, who will appear playing herself.

On the 'Creek,' Philipps portrayed Audrey Liddell, Joey's (Katie Holmes) college roommate and Pacey's (Joshua Jackson) eventual love interest beginning with the show's fourth season. Up until recently, Philipps was an ABC star as well, as a lead of the Bill Lawrence comedy 'Cougar Town,' though the series jumped networks to land on TBS.

Of course, that isn't to say that appearances from Holmes, Jackson or even former 'Creek' lead Michelle Williams are off the table, but they're certainly being kept under wraps for now. After all, Jackson is no stranger to TV following his own lead turn on 'Fringe,' and even Holmes briefly escaped from Tom Cruise long enough to put in an appearance in the seventh season of 'How I Met Your Mother.'

What say you? Do you think a 'Dawson's Creek' reunion is possible, or limited to an in-show story of 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23?' Are you excited to see Philipps reunite with her former co-star? Give us your take in the comments below!
