The latest Dragon Age: Inquisition developer diary to cause us great amounts of salivation explores the world of Thedas and what we, as the Inquisitor, can do in it.

We'll see all kinds of environments in Dragon Age: Inquisition, in which the player is free to explore as he or she pleases. There are jungles, deserts, wastelands, forests and mountains to traverse and a myriad of things to do and see. You can interact with many different objects in the background and view art that helps flesh out the history of the world.

Of course, not everything in Thedas will fill you with wonder, since there's also the threat of monsters raining down from the tear in the Fade. Your character will also have a huge impact on the world, since his or her actions will have far-reaching consequences. The fate of many lives will rest in your hands.

Check out the developer diary above and let us know how you think Dragon Age: Inquisition is shaping up. It will be released for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2014.
