Of all the TV shows to be turned into movies, 'The Fall Guy' actually makes sense to translate to the big screen, so color us excited that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is in talks to star in a big screen reboot with McG eyed to direct.

The premise of the show is that the main character Colt Seavers (played by Lee Majors) is a stuntman who also does work as a bounty hunter to make ends meet. He's flanked by his cousin (who's training to be a stuntman) and his hot sidekick (played by Heather Thomas). Johnson playing a stuntman is perfect casting, but Johnson playing someone named Colt Seavers is even better.

This news comes from The Hollywood Reporter, and it's a surprise that it's taken this long for Johnson to book another role. During the first few months of 2013, you couldn't go to the movie theaters without seeing a movie starring Johnson, as he had a run of 'Snitch,' 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation,' 'Pain and Gain' and 'Fast and Furious 6' all coming out about a month apart. Currently he's working on 'Hercules' and should go straight into 'Fast and Furious 7' after that, while he's been circling a number of other projects. That said, this is the sort of film that if it doesn't come together shortly could fall by the wayside.
