Boy, someone's certainly excited to begin production, aren't they?  In the last 24 hours alone, we've seen Portia de Rossi added to the cast of NBC's forthcoming 'Munsters' reboot 'Mockingbird Lane,' as well as our first look at Charity Wakefield in costume as Marilyn, so what's next?  With production helmed by Bryan Fuller and Bryan Singer underway, which member of the cast is next to show off their look?

NBC's upcoming horror comedy (ish) 'Mockingbird Lane' has officially begun production of its pilot episode, and with it pictures are slowly leaking out of the updated 'Munster' family.  Earlier today series show-runner Bryan Fuller released the first look at Charity Wakefield as The Munsters' "plain" cousin Marilyn, but now the supernatural sneak-peek has begun with our first photo of acclaimed UK comedian Eddie Izzard as the vampiric Grandpa Munster!

Huh.  We're uh...going to assume there's a bit more makeup involved.

Written by ‘Pushing Daisies’ creator Bryan Fuller and directed by Bryan Singer, ‘Mockingbird Lane’ updates and re-invents the ’60s sitcom, showcasing a family of vampires, werewolves and other supernatural creatures, as well as their “plain” cousin Marilyn (Charity Wakefield).  Rather than a traditional sitcom as in the original iteration, the series will feature striking visuals in the vein of Fuller’s past work on ‘Daisies.’  In addition to Portia de Rossi as Lily and Jerry O’Connell as HermanMason Cook will play the role of young werewolf boy Eddie, while Izzard will play Grandpa Munster.

So, how do you think 'Mockingbird Lane' is shaping up?  We certainly like Grandpa Munster's new duds, but we're hoping a little more goes into making Grandpa just a little more menacing as a vampire.  Give us your own take in the comments below!
