Did two Dutch retailers really just spill the beans on Sony's secret release date for the PlayStation 4?

According to Videogamer, the PlayStation 4 will be arriving on Nov. 13 over in Europe. Since Sony is planning a global launch, that means the date could coincide with the time we can expect the next-gen console in the U.S., too.

The release date was leaked by both MediaMarkt and Bol.com. These aren't small time chains either, as MediaMarkt could be construed as a Best Buy equivalent for that market. For what it's worth, there have been rumors the PS4 would arrive stateside on Oct. 29, but those reports are just as unfounded at this time.

Unlike Microsoft, Sony didn't really specify what month it hoped to release the PlayStation 4, and only divulged the price point with a vague holiday timetable. November 13 would definitely make sense, as it falls in line with some previous launches, but until Sony confirms its plans, don't get your hopes up too much.
