Lionhead Studios announced today that they won't be releasing Fable Anniversary until next year. Damn you, Friday the 13th.

An update on the Lionhead blog features a letter from lead designer Ted Timmins, apologizing to fans about the wait and explaining that they want to put out the very best game possible.

And because of this, they'll be delaying Fable Anniversary until Feb. 2014. To make it up to their fans, Lionhead Studios will be releasing more screenshots, game footage and "top secret announcements" over the following weeks.

If you've got any questions for the team, they'll be taking part in a Lionhead Twitter takeover and answering your questions at the following times:

•    17:00 to 18:00 - British Summer Time (GMT +1)
•    12:00 to 13:00 - Eastern Daylight Time
•    09:00 to 10:00 - Pacific Daylight Time

So, while the wait for Fable Anniversary may be a little longer, you can rest easy knowing that Lionhead Studios will be doing all it can for the fans until the game is released on Xbox 360 next year.
