‘Falling Skies’ “The Pickett Line” Preview Clip: “Highway Robbery”

After this past Sunday’s surprisingly emotional ‘Falling Skies‘ thriller “Be Silent and Come Out,” this weekend’s all-new episode “The Pickett Line” will see the Mason clan out on the road in search of the kidnapped Anne and Alexis. Aliens might be the least of their problems however, judging by the first clip TNT has made available from “The Pickett Line.”

The clip in question sees the Mason family taken hostage on the road, while a group of masked men pilfer their supplies and horses. Even with the alien attacks and titular ‘Falling Skies,’ it looks like man’s biggest enemy remains other men. Shades of ‘The Walking Dead,’ anybody?

From TNT’s official description of Sunday’s “The Pickett Line”

The Masons run into trouble on the road when a family of outlaws intercepts their search-and-rescue mission. Meanwhile, looming doubts over the construction of a massive alien weapon ignite a conflict of interests. And an investigation to apprehend a killer on the loose hits a road block.

Sunday’s episode will represent the last we see from ‘Falling Skies’ before Comic-Con 2013, wherein the cast will be on hand to preview both the remaining episodes of the season, as well as what we can expect from the recently-announced fourth season of the Steven Spielberg-produced alien actioner.
