There’s been no official confirmation from Universal on Charlize Theron’s casting as the villain in Fast 8, but whomever eventually ends up as the big bad in the Fast & Furious sequel can rest easy knowing they’ll have at least one henchman at their disposal. Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju, aka Tormund Giantsbane, has joined the cast of Fast 8 as an associate of the new antagonist. Until we find out who that is, let’s continue to cross our fingers and whisper “please be Charlize Theron, please be Charlize Theron.”

The Wrap reports that Hivju has joined the lineup for Fast 8, in which he’ll play henchman to the sequel’s mysterious new villain. Theron was reportedly in talks for that role back in February, though Universal has yet to provide an update on the casting. Hivju is a Norwegian actor best known for playing formidable wildling leader Tormund Giantsbane in HBO’s Game of Thrones. He’s also appeared in acclaimed foreign dramas like Force Majeure and In Order of Disappearance.

The actor joins returning Fast & Furious franchise stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris, with Jason Statham as the series’ relentless antagonist Deckard Shaw. Straight Outta Compton’s F. Gary Gray is directing the sequel, with Kurt Russell rumored to be reprising his role from Furious 7.

Fast 8 hits theaters on April 14, 2017.
