One of the biggest stars in the 'Fast and Furious' movies isn't just Vin Diesel or Paul Walker - it's the location. Whether it's Tokyo or Brazil or Spain or London, each installment has upped the ante to a new, exotic locale. So what does 'Fast and Furious 7' have in store for us? Today we learn from star and producer Diesel that the next film will take place primarily in the Middle East.

While a lot of familiar faces will be returning for 'Fast and Furious 7,' there are just as many who won't be coming back. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Gina Carano are both gone, as is director Justin Lin, who stepped down from the sequel (and was replaced by James Wan of 'Saw' fame).

Also not returning will be London, where the majority of the action in 'Fast and Furious 6' takes place. Instead, the action will begin briefly in Tokyo before shifting to a brand new location. Vin Diesel tells Digital Spy:

We have a stint in Tokyo and there is the Middle East next, that could be interesting.

Why the action returns to Tokyo at the beginning of 'Fast and Furious 7' will be made clear to everyone who sees 'Fast and Furious 6' but how exactly the action goes from Tokyo to the Middle East remains to be seen.

Despite 'Fast and Furious 6' not even being in theaters yet, 'Fast and Furious 7' already has a June 11, 2014 release date scheduled.
