Finally, some good news regarding 'Fast and Furious 7.' After the tragic death of star Paul Walker, the production stalled and struggled to get back into gear, but now the latest installment in one of our favorite action franchises has just wrapped shooting, and Universal is so pleased that they've moved the release date up a week.

Granted, a week early isn't much when we were supposed to see 'Fast and Furious 7' this year, but it's still good news for a production that's had a rough time. Variety reports that Universal has officially moved up the release date from April 10, 2015 to April 3. We'll still have to wait until next year to catch up with Dom and his crew, but at least we know they're on track.

Director James Wan and the cast wrapped shooting earlier this week on the latest installment, which reunites cast members Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and the dearly departed Paul Walker. Also joining the film this time around are Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, and 'Game of Thrones' star Nathalie Emmanuel.

The new sequel follows Dominic Toretto and his crew as they evade the wrath of Ian Shaw (Statham), who is out for revenge after the death of his brother. Shaw's character was teased at the end of 'Fast and Furious 6.'

2015 seems like a long wait, but we can't help but be pumped about the seventh installment in this franchise, which just keeps getting better and better.
