'Finding Dory,' the sequel to the Pixar hit 'Finding Nemo,' was featured during this year's D23 Expo in California. While no new footage was offered, as production has only just begun, director Andrew Stanton and producer Lindsey Collins revealed some of the new cast members in the film, as well as a few interesting plot details.

As we already knew, Albert Brooks will return as Marlin, along with Ellen DeGeneres as Dory for 'Finding Dory,' but the new cast members announced at D23 Expo 2013 are Diane Keaton (voicing Dory's mom Jenny), Eugene Levy (voicing Dory's dad Charlie) and Ty Burrell (Bailey, a friendly beluga whale).

Yes, this does mean we'll be meeting Dory's family in 'Finding Dory,' a point that will, in fact, be the driving force of the plot. As Stanton says, the title is pretty self-explanatory. 'Finding Dory' takes place a year or so after the events of the first film, when Dory's short-term memory turns out to be more of a hassle than she thought. Following some sort of an event, her homing instincts kick in and she sets off to find her family with Marlin in tow after her. When she finds them, she realizes they're a lot bigger than she ever imagined.

In addition, Disney revealed a first look at 'Finding Dory' through concept art for the film. Here's just a piece of what was shown, courtesy of Walt Disney and Pixar:
