Tomorrow night will see ‘The Flash’ kicking off part one of the big “Flash vs. Arrow” crossover, but why wait a whole 24 hours for some flashy new goodness? Get an extended look at Oliver and Barry’s buddy brawl, as well as DC villains Captain Cold and Heat Wave, and we’ll even throw a shirtless Felicity into the latest ‘Flash’ trailer, because why not?

We’d already known the pursuit of a certain boomerang-wielding DC villain would bring Oliver and company to Central City, as well as the metahuman most likely responsible for pitting Barry against Oliver, but the latest “Flash vs. Arrow” trailer reveals that a returning Captain Cold and his new partner Heat Wave (‘Prison Break’ stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell) will also factor into the hour overall.

Elsewhere, Oliver seems to coolly lay down the law whenever Barry attempts to extoll the virtue of his super-speed or kitschy meta-human names, while Diggle seems utterly dumbfounded by the existence of superpowers. Also, shirtless Felicity is shirtless, and there’s nothing not shirtless about shirtless Felicity. I get paid for this, you know.

So reads The CW’s official description of “Flash vs. Arrow”:

Barry (Grant Gustin) is thrilled when Oliver (guest star Stephen Amell), Felicity (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he’d like to help him stop Ray Bivolo, the meta-human Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks. Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn’t go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone.

However, when Bivolo infects Barry and sets him on a rage rampage, everyone is in danger, and the only one who can stop him is the Arrow. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) is furious when Eddie (Rick Cosnett) tries to get a task force to stop The Flash; Joe and Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) agree the Arrow is a bad influence on Barry; and Caitlin and Cisco deal with a new team in S.T.A.R. Labs.

The crossover will continue Wednesday night with ‘Arrow’’s “The Brave and the Bold,” but in the meantime, shirtlessly marvel at the newest “Flash vs. Arrow” crossover trailer above, and tell us in the comments who you think will win the day tomorrow night!
