Lord and Miller have become go-to names for comedy, continuing on TV through The Last Man on Earth, and apparently devoid of scheduling conflicts, the two have added yet another project to their plate. Curious-sounding Son of Zahn will get the Lord and Miller treatment on FOX, a unique hybrid of live-action and animation.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Son of Zahn follows an animated Barbarian father who comes home for the first time in 10 years to an live-action ex-wife and son. He finds that reconnecting with his family, struggling through his mundane office job and dealing with the banality of suburban life is much harder than waging actual war in his distant, animated world.

Despite only shooting an 8-10 minute pilot presentation later on this summer, Lord and Miller have already cast 21 Jump Street star Johnny Pemberton in the role of Zahn’s moody live-action son Alan. Additionally, The series has already selected Wilfred alum Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne to serve as co-showrunners and executive producers, alongside Seth Cohen (Workaholics, Drunk History).

It’s a tricky concept to know what to make of, but given all the talent involved, could Lord and Miller have another FOX TV success on their hands?
