We still don’t have the clearest picture of Ryan Murphy’s new horror-comedy anthology ‘Scream Queens’ for FOX, but its cast will certainly draw some attention. Following initial selections of Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts, ‘Scream Queens’ is adding to its horror-grinder ‘Glee’’s Lea Michele, ‘True Blood’’s Joe Manganiello, pop star Ariana Grande, and more.

FOX announced the news at the ongoing Television Critics Association press tour panel, adding that Grande’s role will be that of a guest turn, leaving Michele, Manganiello, Abigail Breslin and ‘Masters of Sex’ star Keke Palmer as series regulars. Michele comes off the final season of ‘Glee’ (and a quick bit in ‘Sons of Anarchy’’s final ride) while Manganiello returns to TV following the end of HBO’s ‘True Blood.’

Given a straight-to-series order of 15 episodes for fall 2015, the new series follows a college campus rocked by a series of murders, with two female leads at the center. Each season would reboot itself with a new setting and storyline, as with ‘American Horror Story,’ though presumably keeping the same two-female focus. If the new series feels at all familiar to its ‘Horror Story’ predecessor, that would owe to Murphy’s reunion with producers Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto as well.

Well, what do you think? Are you on board to watch Lea Michele, Joe Manganiello, Ariana Grande, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts doing their best ‘Scream Queens?’
