FOX's time-turning thriller 'Sleepy Hollow' got off to an exceptionally good start this past week in spite of only moderate critical reactions, but the modern headless thriller has really begun to hit the 'Fringe.' FOX favorite John Noble has been announced for a major role on the series to unite with producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, but how long will our old pal Walter Bishop be sticking around?

Via Deadline, Noble will appear later on in the season for a major recurring role as the kind and reclusive Henry Parrish, a man who possesses supernatural abilities that have the potential to help the series’ time-displaced leading man, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison). For those only now tuning in to the series, 'Fringe' vets Orci and Kurtzman's 'Sleepy Hollow' follows Ichabod Crane who wakes up in the modern day to team with local police officer Abbie Mills (Nichole Beharie) in bringing down his mortal nemesis, the Headless Horseman, stopping the apocalypse in the process.

Noble's post-'Fringe' work has included a few guest stints on 'The Good Wife,' while Noble's 'Fringe' co-stars Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson have signed onto the HBO Ryan Murphy pilot 'Open' and Showtime's 'The Affair,' respectively.

We enjoyed the pilot for 'Sleepy Hollow,' and will probably stick around for a few episodes, though the addition of John Noble certainly has our attention. Licorice, anyone? In case you missed it, check out the full pilot of FOX's 'Sleepy Hollow' below, followed by a taste of future episodes, and tell us what other 'Fringe' stars you'd like to see pop up in the comments!
