The nineteenth episode of 'Fringe's current season will be upon us this Friday night, and fans know what that means!  With the nineteenth episode traditionally the trippiest, "Letters of Transit" is shaping up to be no different, and with that comes a brand-spanking new title sequence!

Fans of the cult-favorite FOX series have long gotten a kick out of 'Fringe's alternating title sequences, inverting the blue color scheme to red for episodes set in the "other" universe, dipping into retro stylings for a past-centric episode, grey for future-ized season 3 finale "The Day We Died," and the current alternate-timeline season maintaining an amber hue.  So with this Friday's "Letters of Transit" pulling even farther into the future, what might we see?

From the episode's official synopsis:

THE FRINGE TEAM GOES BACK TO THE FUTURE ON AN ALL-NEW “FRINGE” FRIDAY, APRIL 20, ON FOX

The FRINGE tradition of a mind-bending 19th episode continues as the story jumps ahead to 2036, when the Observers and the Fringe team engage in a game-changing battle in the all-new “Letters of Transit” episode of FRINGE airing Friday, April 20 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

"Letters of Transit" also sees the introduction of 'LOST' star Henry Ian Cusick's mysterious character, along with Georgina Haig's character "Etta."  Take a look at the all-new title sequence below, which feels appropriately futuristic from the usual 'Fringe' title sequence, and tellingly points out the oppressive reign of the Observers!

And don't forget to actually watch "Letters of Transit" this Friday, so we can get an answer to that 'Fringe' renewal we've been anticipating for so long!
