‘Fringe’ Season 5: The Cast Discusses Last Week’s Heartbreaking Death

Fringe The Bullet That Saved The World Etta Death
FOX

Only four episodes in, and ‘Fringe‘s final season has already punched us in the gut with a heartbreaking death that capped off last week’s “The Bullet That Saved the World.” Sure, we knew that the truncated final season would move at a swift pace to chronicle the battle against the Observers, but we never would have thought a beloved character would fall so early! So before ‘Fringe’ season 5 picks up again this Friday with “An Origin Story,” learn what the cast has to say about the shocking death!

Etta. Poor Etta. Separated from her parents at an early age, only to be taken out by her Observer superior mere weeks after being reunited with her family. And poor Peter and Olivia, so relieved to have their child back, only for her to be snatched away again, this time for good. So while last week’s “The Bullet That Saved the World” broke our hearts, what do the cast have to say about Etta (Georgina Haig)’s shocking departure?

FOX has released a tender retrospective of the character in advance of this Friday’s “An Origin Story,” wherein series stars Joshua Jackson, Anna Torv, Jasika Nicole, John Noble and Georgina Haig herself discuss the character’s demise, and what it will mean going forward for the season. Will Etta’s death be the straw that breaks Olivia’s back? Will Peter really go all ‘Man On Fire”?
